I have made my own Christmas cards for my colleagues for a few years now. I've posted some of my previous ones here, here (I really loved these!!) and even older ones here. I like to keep them at the 10x10cm size (about 4x4 inches) as I can get three cards from one A4 sheet of card. I need to make about 25 of them, so I want them to be easy and not have too many steps.
