25 Days of Christmas Tags with STAMPlorations

I'm super excited to be part of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags again this year. As usual, STAMPlorations is one of the sponsors of this super fun event. And STAMPlorations also have a Christmas special sale see the end of the post for details! You can see the list of all the wonderful sponsors of this event below - please show them some love for being awesome and sponsoring this event year after year, helping make it such a wonderful pre-Christmas tradition. It feels like Christmas is on its way now that 25 Days of Christmas Tags has started. And congrats to Tracey for keeping the event going for 10 years! There are many ways for you to play along with this event, by commenting on the blog posts and by linking up your own tags over on Tracey's blog In My Creative Opinion. You can also find all the rules for the event there. I hope you feel inspired to create some Christmas tags of your own!

For my tag, I started by inking up my card using Distress Oxides in Aged Mahogany, Seedless Preserves, Shaded Lilac and Antique Linen. Next, I spritzed the Placid Stencil with water and pressed it against the inked card, and then splattered the card with water droplets. Next, I die cut the tag using Stitched Tags Nesting Dies. After leaving the tag to dry thoroughly, I used my antistatic tool on it before heat embossing the beautiful Typografia Christmas: Merry Little Christmas stamp in gunmetal to create the main focal image for my tag. I love this stamp and use it year after year for my Christmas projects. There are also other gorgeous Typografia Christmas stamps in the STAMPlorations store if you like the idea of festive sentiments. Check below for a discount code if you want to shop in the STAMPlorations store, and if you shop for at least $15 you can pick one of the Typografia Christmas stamps (or any other product up to $7 value) for FREE!
